Article Submission Guidelines
The following guidelines should assist you in properly submitting your articles to eContentSource.com.
Please read all of the guidelines to ensure that your submissions will be accepted!
Submitting an article in no way guarantees inclusion in our directory. We reserve the right to reject any submission, for any reason.
Article Submission
- Submission to eContentSource.com is always free.
- By submitting your articles to eContentSource.com, you grant us the right to publish your articles anywhere on our website, blog or syndicate through RSS.
- By submitting your articles to eContentSource.com, you grant other eContentSource.com users the right to publish your articles on their websites, newsletters, and ezines, etc. This is contingent on the article being left in its original state, including resources.
- Submitting your articles to eContentSource.com does not entitle you to any financial compensation by eContentSource.com, or its users.
- Articles must be grammatically correct, and free of spelling mistakes. Articles with excessive mistakes will be rejected.
- Articles should be submitted to only one relevant category. If a relevant category does not exist, contact us to request the inclusion of a new category.
- You must be the exclusive copyright holder of all articles you submit.
- Submitting multiple copies of the same article with minor differences is not allowed.
- Articles must not contain Pop-Ups, Javascripts, or Download links.
- Articles must not contain direct links to affiliate programs.
- Articles that contain content that may be deemed to be illegal is not allowed
Article Format
- Title
- Article title must be in Title Case -- only the first letter in each major word is capitalized, all others are lower case.
- Title cannot contain Author Name or Website Name.
- No HTML tags are allowed in the title.
- Do not end the title with a period.
- Body
- Article should be between 200 and 3500 words.
- Do not repeat the title and Author name in the article body.
- Do not pre-format your article with carriage returns, allow the text to wrap naturally.
- Do not self promote in the body of the article. That is what the resource box is for.
- Only the following HTML tags are allowed in the article body:
- Bold tag
- Italics tag
- Underline tag
- Indent tag
Pen Names
- Before you can submit an article you will need to create at least one Pen Name.
- Pen Names must consist of a First and Last Name at a minimum.
- We do not limit the number of Pen Names that a Member may have.
Website Links
- You are allowed no more than three links per article in the resource box.
- Links are not allowed in the Title, Summary, or Keywords Sections of the Article.
- Links in the Body Section of the Article are limited to links to relative content. As an example, within your article you can link the word "hypertension" to an article on High Blood Pressure.
- Articles must not contain direct links to affiliates websites. Please use your own domain name to redirect the link to your affiliates website.
Article Summary
- Every article must have a 2 to 5 sentence summary.
- It is acceptable to use the first paragraph of your article as the summary.
- No HTML tags are permitted in the Summary Section.
Author Resource Box
- The Resource Box is where you can promote yourself and your web site.
- You are allowed up to three self-serving links.
- Do not use the same link more than once. Duplicate URL's are not allowed.
Adding Keywords
- Adding the top keywords related to your article, will help to bring more traffic to your article.
- Each keyword should be separated by a comma.
- You should have a minimum of 5 keywords and a maximum of 25.
