  • Are the Raiders not sucking this year?
    It's tricky to say for sure, since their opposition didn't provide the sternest of tests, but ... could it be? Could it be that the Oakland Raiders managed to mimic a non-ridiculous football team for 60 minutes last night?

    The Raiders' trade for Richard Seymour was made on Sunday, the NFL has it listed in their trades, Raiders.com has it listed on their transactions sheet, and William Joseph was graze to make room on the roster. So why isn't Seymour inside a Raiders uniform yet? Better yet, why isn't he even in Oakland yet? The trade is not officially conclude until Seymour takes and passes a physical and reports to practice. But since the news of the trade has went down, here has been no movement going on. Merely a lot of chatting and speculation.

    Now so as to Tom Cable has the Raiders chore(Head Coach), he needs a depandable quarterback. His top priority as head coach must be to do everything in his power to help JaMarcus Russell become a star.
    John Harbaugh (Ravens), Mike Smith (Falcons), and Tony Sparano (Dolphins) all did terrific jobs as first-year head coaches. But they had something moreover in common. All benefited from quarterbacks who made a gigantic impact.
