New iPhone App To Manage Contacts

By: George Keller

iPhones made applications a regular thing in mobile phones. There is always a new application being released in some gadget- last I read was an app for Blackberry users. It's a Blackberry application for Skyers and Snowboarders. With this application, the user can locate out all about skiing and snowboarding spots - the location, the ticket centre, the nearby lodge, the temperature of the place and all that is necessary by a traveler traveling to such places. The advantageous part about the Blackberry application is that the details is accessible even in offline mode.

There range apps for entertainment like gaming to applications for finding locations of the place. As a matter of fact, iPhones have maximum amount of apps to their credit. And it is the achievement of iPhone apps that inspires Android and other players like Intel and Symbian to start a app store.

The latest iPhone app is for managing contacts. Till now iPhone users could copy contacts from SIM to iPhone but not from iPhone to SIM. Well, now iPhone users can do both the things - copy to and fro. A new app called SIM Manager is released on Cydia which enables a user to copy the contact from SIM to iPhone and from iPhone to SIM. The app also enables you to modify and delete contacts. Apart from managing the contacts, the SIM saves in back up too. And the advantageous part is that the app is free.

An identical application was launched sometime back which permitted contacts to be moved from one iPhone to another via iPhone bumps. Yes, you read it right. The iphone users are required to make the two iPhones touch each other with a slight jerk and the details from one iPhone's phonebook would get moved into the other iPhone's phonebook.
