Apple and its still-not-released Tablet has since long been the talk in the gadget industry. And now Apple has made a move which has yet again gotten all the attention. This time the news is that Apple is planning to name its much awaited, much coveted Tablet PC. Till now the names that surfaced up for the Apple Tablet are iSlate, iTablet, Magic Tablet and so on. But now a completely new name has come up. The name is iPad. Not even a week to the Apple Tablet's launch, and we get to hear that the name of this Tablet is still not confirmed. Apple has filed a patent for the copyright of this name, but is being faced by opposition. This opposition is from Fujistu which has patent rights since 2003. It's a little confusing why Apple wants to gain the trademark rights for something which belongs to a brand for so long. The US patent and trademark office has given Apple the time till Feb 28. I may not be the right person to give my views on it but the team of tech enthusiasts at iphonehelp shares that this could well be an advertising funda of Apple. Just a while ago Valleywag had come out with something totally bizarre- they help up a contest in which one had to find a proof about the authenticity of the existence of Apple Tablet. And the winner was to awarded cash prize. A lot of folks opined that that was Apple's trick to keep tech enthusiasts hooked to the Apple sensation. Likewise this could also be an advertising trick from Apple. Well, only time can tell what the truth- if the name is iSlate or iTablet or iPad. So stay tuned for Jan 27, when Apple will unveil the awaited Apple Tablet.
